HOW DOES FAT GRAFTING WORK AND WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT?

Fat grafting is done as an outpatient procedure. The process involves using liposuction to remove excess fat from a targeted area of the body. Parts of the body that are most commonly targeted include excess fat found in the abdomen, love handles and/or thighs. After the fat has been carefully removed by Dr. Sureddi, the fat is washed and the blood is separated from the fat. Your fat is then placed in a syringe and is skillfully injected into the desired facial areas to fill in deep wrinkles, nasolabial folds and to restore lost volume to the face.

Patients can expect some swelling and bruising. Fat grafting results are typically longer lasting than fillers.*
